Owner
Ashley has been in the tax industry since 2017. Ashley is the owner of Triple D Financial. She has a passion for helping small businesses and making sure they succeed in their financial journey. She prides herself in providing first-class quality work.
Ashley has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 10 years. Together they have 4 children. They spend their weekends and evenings at their kid’s sporting events, and they enjoy every minute of it. Together they own three businesses. Ashley has a love for photography and owns a photography business in the Burleson area.

Megan Thonsgard

Director of Operations

Meet Megan Thonsgard, an accomplished Operations Director with a passion for excellence
in the tax and accounting industry. With seven years of experience in the financial services sector,
she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Megan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Victim Studies, showcasing her commitment to making a
positive impact on peoples lives. Currently pursuing a Masters in Business Management and
Leadership, she is dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth.

Beyond the world of finance, Megan is happily married and is a loving mother to her daughter
Rylie. The warmth of her family extends to 3 dogs who add joy to her everyday life, creating lasting
memories. Megan balances her professional achievements with a deep appreciation for personal
connections and the enriching moments that come with them. During her free time, you can find her
on a cruise ship or taking her chances at the casinos.

Dawn Butler

Director of Bookkeeping Services

Dawn Butler, is our bookkeeping specialist. Before joining the team at Triple D Financial, Dawn worked in
the medical field for 32 years. She was also a previous tax preparer at another agency. When Dawn is
not serving her clients, she enjoys crafting, spending time with her daughter Kayte, and shopping!

Dawn’s goal is to advance her career with continuing her education in the accounting field as she
just completed her Associate’s degree in Business . Dawn is your go to for all your bookkeeping questions and needs.

Chrystal Dent

Bookkeeping Specialist

With a career rooted in Operations and Finance, she has built a strong foundation through progressive leadership roles spanning Service Operations, Office Administration, and Account Management within the Finance and Accounting industries. Her experience reflects a consistent trajectory toward Financial and Operational Leadership, developed through hands-on work in both Corporate Service environments and Executive-level Finance Offices.

After relocating to Texas in 2010, she quickly established herself as a trusted professional known for organizational efficiency, exceptional client service, and seamless cross-functional collaboration — all while thriving in high-pressure environments. Her “rock star” approach to client care means she shows up ready to solve problems, streamline processes, and deliver results that truly make a difference.

In 2023, she purchased her home in Burleson, and in 2024 married her wonderful husband — proudly putting down roots in the community she now calls home. When she’s not serving clients, she and her husband spend their weekends running tech for their church and enjoying time with their pup, Winnie.

She looks forward to serving you and your family with the same dedication, integrity, and care she brings to her own.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Stephanie Dehoyos is a proud military spouse and dedicated professional with a background in healthcare management, HR, and entrepreneurship. With a bachelor’s in Human Resources and a master’s in progress in Healthcare Administration, she brings both academic insight and real-world experience to the table.

As a former small business owner, Stephanie understands the complexities of payroll, taxes, and HR — and she’s passionate about helping other entrepreneurs navigate them. At Triple D Financial, her mission is to empower local business owners with personalized guidance and practical solutions.

Marisa Lightfoot

Administrative Assistant

Marisa Lightfoot is a dedicated member of the Triple D Financial team, bringing a strong foundation in customer service and business administration. She is passionate about creating a supportive and welcoming experience for every client, helping them feel confident in their financial journey.

Marisa is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business at Tarleton State University, further strengthening her knowledge and commitment to growth within the financial industry.

Outside of her professional role, Marisa enjoys spending quality time with her dogs and loved ones and prioritizes an active lifestyle through regular workouts. Her dedication to continuous personal and professional development makes her a valued part of our team.
